About PVSCAN Engineering
PVSCAN Engineering is a Malaysian inspection company focused on one thing: giving solar plant owners an independent, module-level picture of plant health from the air.
What we do
We survey operating solar PV plants with infrared sensors carried by unmanned aircraft, identify every module in the survey, classify each anomaly in line with IEC TS 62446-3 practice, and estimate what each fault is costing in yield. Owners, O&M contractors, EPCs, investors and insurers use the results to prioritise repairs, settle handovers, support claims and value assets.
Alongside the solar work, the same field capability serves other clients: telco tower panoramas and line-of-sight checks, construction and highway progress reports, and mapping of land, quarries and plantations.
What we do not do
We do not sell or install modules, inverters or balance-of-system equipment, and we do not carry out repairs or cleaning. That independence is the point. When we tell you a string is down or a batch of modules is degrading early, there is no commercial interest behind the finding.
How we work
- Engineering first. Findings are reviewed by people who understand PV systems, not just image processing. Where a thermal signature is ambiguous we say so and recommend the right follow-up test.
- Built for repeat use. Our client portal keeps module identities stable across inspections, so plant health can be tracked year to year and repair contractors can be held to account.
- Practical deliverables. A repair list and a map a technician can use beat a thick PDF nobody reads. We produce both, but the field-ready outputs come first.
- Safe and compliant. Operations follow Malaysian civil aviation requirements and your site's safety rules.
